Description
Huge deep bowl in heavily spalted, distressed beech. Exterior beaded, scorched, lime waxed and one large bead rubbed with silver gilt cream.
The timber had suffered fungal attack before it was seasoned and this resulted in random, soft areas of grain which have eroded more than their adjacent areas, creating an amazing range of textures on the outer surface.
